many people didn't like Fedor there?
I think it is a rather cruel discussion going on about Fedor not beeing one of the top fighters anymore, getting kicked out of the Strikeforce with his last 0-3 record and so on.. I mean what about Dan Hardy 0-4 still in the UFC, while a legend like Fedor is being kicked? Thats nonsens. Fedor deserves everyones respect. He might not be the top 3 or even the top 10 anymore, but some dudes just has to understand Fedor is now an older generation. In his days, Fedor met the top fighters and won. Undefeated for 10 years on highest level. Randy fell, Chuck fell, Wanderlei fell... and they all fell long before Fedor. I got a mail from a quite big american MMA-site last week where the editor said "I'm not a fan of how Fedor conducted his career". Wtf? 10 years undefeated, not a fan? That is pretty high standards.. I hope this guy can live up to those standards in his own career.. It is a crazy statement and typical for the anti-Fedor american discussion going on.
In addition to this Fedor has always been a humble person, showing respect to all opponents and all fans, always. But alot people can't seem to show Fedor the same respect back.
This is why I felt an urge do make this video. The message is clear: Fedor think he fell (Werdum, Silva, Henderson), but because of the respect Fedor is showing, he can never fall.
Wether people like his career or not, his person or not, he deserves credit for his performances.
