On Nov. 12, the pair will become the first UFC bout to be broadcast on Fox when they throw down in Anaheim, Calif.

Dos Santos took a chance, and it paid off. Instead of sitting on the shelf while UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez recuperated from shoulder surgery, No. 1 contender “Cigano” took a June 11 bout with Shane Carwin, a replacement for original opponent Brock Lesnar. The Brazilian boxed his way to a unanimous decision win, taking Carwin the distance for the first time in his career and keeping his trajectory for his Nov. 12 showdown with Velasquez.

Despite showing flashes of strong standup, the Brazilian spent much of his Strikeforce heavyweight grand prix quarterfinal attempting to pull guard and lure Alistair Overeem into his realm. The Dutchman stayed upright for almost the entire bout and did enough to walk away with a unanimous decision, evening the pair’s series at 1-1.

The 35-year-old will have revenge on his mind for his next bout: On Dec. 10, Nogueira will try to avenge his first knockout loss when he rematches Frank Mir.

Machida has not been much of a topic for discussion for UFC matchmaking since he wanted big money to face Rashad Evans in the UFC 133 main event. Machida's manager, Ed Soares, has floated the name of unbeaten former NCAA wrestling champion Phil Davis as a potential opponent, but no steps have been taken in that direction.

Alvarez could also have the chance to avenge his lone loss of the past three years, as Bellator is reportedly in talks to bring Dream champ Shinya Aoki stateside for a 2012 showdown.

6. Benson Henderson (14-2)

People expected Jim Miller to use Henderson as a springboard to a UFC title shot. With his next bout, Henderson could legitimately lay claim to a title shot if he can overcome Clay Guida on Nov. 12.

Nunes eventually withdrew from the bout himself, citing physical and personal problems, but plans to be back in December and has expressed his desire to face Gamburyan at that time.

качество выступления независимо от исхода боя,

Личный рекорд,

наличие титулов в ММА,

гражданство Украины.

РЕЙТИНГ БОЙЦОВ ММА УКРАИНЫ

Сентябрь выдался ударным, в прямом и переносном смысле этого слова. Сразу несколько бойцов рейтинга бойцов ММА Украины улучшили свои показатели в списке ТОП-10. В весовой категории 70кг с показателем 3-0-0 появился «новичок». Иван Косткив с одиннадцатой строчки поднялся сразу на восьмую. Александр Козырь улучшил свои показатели в графе побед 5-2-0, и закрепил за собой пятую позицию. На данный момент замыкают ТОП-10 Саакян и Лежнев.

На ринге одесского цирка, во время «Кубка Украины Grand Prix Ukraine-Semifanal», в третьем раунде победу отпраздновал Сафронов. Таким образом, записавши четвертую победу в свой актив, он поднялся с десятой на восьмую позицию. Лятифов - четвертое поражение, и минус место в ТОП. Закрепил за собой второе место Владимир Опанасенко, добыв седьмую победу. А Александр Войтенко закрепился на четвертом месте.

Приступая к составлению, мы отталкивались от таких факторов как выступления бойца за последнее время и их результат, уровень оппозиции, учитывали также и общий рекорд, но его влияние оценивается в меньшей степени.
В отличие от многих изданий и сайтов, мы решили добавить к рейтингу пояснение, в котором будут расписываться изменения, произошедшие после турниров, а также, почему бойцы занимают те или иные позиции в списке.
Кроме того, мы решили составлять наш табель в соответствии с последними выступлениями бойца – то есть если, например, Нейт Маркуардт заявил о переходе в полусредний вес, но еще не провел ни одного боя в новом амплуа, то за ним сохраняется позиция в среднем весе (но лишь до первого выступления в полусреднем).
Безусловно, претендовать на полную объективность мы не можем и надеемся, что Ваши замечания помогут нам постепенно доработать рейтинг, сделать систему более отлаженной и гладкой. Обновления планируются после каждого крупного турнира, с участием представителей рейтинга.

Чемпион и первый претендент на титул крупнейшей организации заведомо получают наиболее высокие позиции в рейтингах всех крупных изданий. Однако, зачастую не учитываются такие факторы как общие достижения бойца или, например, длительный простой вызванный травмами, организационными вопросами и т.д.
Брок Леснар попал на шестое место благодаря тому, что стала, наконец, известна дата его следующего выступления и будущий соперник и соответственно появилась некоторая уверенность в том, что он продолжит карьеру в ММА. Бывший чемпион UFC вернется в дело на турнире UFC 141 запланированном на 30 декабря.
Достаточно высокое место Даниэля Кормье – результат его беспроигрышных выступлений. Чистый рекорд, доминирование в боях и место в финале гран-при Strikeforce. В схватке с Антонио Сильвой, бывший борец Кормье показал, что способен биться с соперниками, превосходящими не только в опыте, но и в габаритах. Победное выступление Даниэля ставит его на седьмую строчку, в то время как Антонио Сильва опускается на десятую.
Фрэнк Мир за последнее время провел немало боев и был на высоте в поединке против Роя Нельсона, однако не сумел завершить его досрочно. Тем не менее, уровень соперников Мира не позволяет поставить Фрэнка выше некогда побеждавших его Карвина и Леснара.

Благодаря своему уверенному победному выступлению Чел Соннен вновь стал основным претендентом на титул и занял вторую позицию. Браян Стенн показал, что не готов еще быть среди лучших, однако пока что упал лишь на седьмую строку. В то же время Дэмиан Майя своей победой над Хорхе Сантьяго закрепил за собой девятое место.

Завершившаяся, наконец, трилогия Эдгар - Мэйнард расставила все точки над "i" в легком весе. Грэй Мэйнард оказался на третьем месте, так как пока что это его единственное поражение. Весьма неудачное выступление Мэлвина Гилларда показало его слабость в партере, что стало причиной для потери места в рейтинге. Энтони Петтис возвращается на десятую строчку рейтинга после победы над ветераном Джереми Стивенсом.

Свой последний на сегодняшний день поединок японский боец Татсуя Каваджири провел в полулегкой весовой категории, где успешно справился с одним из лучших бойцов DREAM этого веса – норвежцем Иокимом Хансеном. Теперь за японцем десятая строчка нашего рейтинга – что будет дальше, покажут только его поединки. Полулегкий дивизион DREAM богат на таланты и если Каваджири примет решением остаться в этом весе, работа ему будет обеспечена.
